A planned vacation abroad may not take place if you do not carefully and responsibly prepare for it. In addition to buying tickets, booking a hotel and collecting things, you need to clarify in advance if there is a ban on your travel abroad.
Instructions
Step 1
Outstanding financial obligations can be the reason why you will not be released abroad. By themselves, a loan, loan or mortgage in this case is not terrible. Even a delay in repayment will not interfere with your departure, until a lawsuit is drawn up on it. Confirmation of the prohibition to leave the country, even for a short period, will be a notice of filing against the debtor in court by a financial organization. Such documents are presented by the bailiff service. Of course, it will be calmer and safer to pay all debts and financial obligations on time. You should also make sure that various bills and fines have been paid. Keep in mind that there is a trend towards tougher sanctions against debtors. Such measures are being taken so that some unscrupulous people do not get a lot of loans and leave for another country forever.
Step 2
On the official website of bailiffs, you can check if there is a ban on travel to a foreign country. The website is located at: fssprus.ru. The information you need can be obtained directly from the main page. In the corresponding windows, you need to enter the last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth and select the area, region or region of registration. If there is no debt, the message "Nothing was found for your request" will appear. You can also check the information with your local department of the Federal Bailiff Service. You need a passport to get a certificate. Make a request and get a written answer to it. You can take such a document with you on your trip. Additionally, you can obtain data on tax arrears on the official website of the Federal Tax Service and on the Portal of Public Services.
Step 3
If you are on the black list of malicious defaulters and have received a notification from the bailiff service, you need to urgently pay all bills and pennies on them to travel. It is better to do this directly at the financial institution itself. Then get documentary evidence of your fulfillment of current obligations and make sure that information about you has been removed from the database of border services. Debts on taxes and fines can be paid at the box office of some airports.
Step 4
You can get a ban on leaving the country not only for evading payment of bills, loans, fines and taxes. For example, persons who have access to state secrets on duty cannot visit overseas resorts. Even if now your work does not imply such conditions, but such a ban was in effect at the previous place of work, check if its limitation period is over. In many cases, the travel ban lasts some time after being fired.
Step 5
Conscripts for military or alternative service also risk not seeing foreign attractions. After all, they are prohibited from leaving the country. Contract employees are an exception. They need to coordinate the place and purpose of the trip with the management. Holders of a deferment or exemption from conscription can also leave the country. If a conscript needs to go abroad to study at a foreign educational institution, he must draw up a package of documents, which includes a military ID, a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office and a certificate of registration.
Step 6
Problems with the criminal code also prevent them from leaving the country. Suspects or defendants in the case cannot travel abroad. Convicted persons have the right to visit foreign countries only after the conviction has been cleared. This happens after 3-10 years, depending on the severity of the crime. In some serious cases, it is possible to remove a criminal record earlier by a court decision. Conditionally convicted persons can visit foreign countries after the expiry of the probationary period. The holders of the ban on leaving are persons who, in the process of issuing documents for leaving, deliberately provided inaccurate data.
Step 7
In case of violation of the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, you can also get a ban on leaving the country. It was introduced at the request of the traffic police, the police, the border service, the veterinary control service, customs and even the labor inspection. If you received an administrative fine and paid it off in accordance with the law in 1 month, contact the authority that imposed it in order to obtain proof of the fulfillment of your obligations. A receipt, check, or other document will do. So you will not have any complaints from the border service workers.
Step 8
If you are a child support payer, make sure that you are not in arrears on them. You can get such information on various Internet resources and using mobile applications. Keep in mind that non-payment of alimony threatens not only with a ban on leaving for foreign countries, but also with the accrual of penalties, administrative fines, deprivation of parental rights and criminal liability.
Step 9
The travel ban may apply to minor children if one of the parents or legal representatives strongly disagrees with the child's departure to a foreign country. A person who has not reached the age of majority must obtain a notarized consent to leave. This provision is governed by the Federal Law "On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation."
Step 10
An expired passport may become the reason for detention at the border. Make sure your main document is in order before planning your trip. Please note that some states require foreign passports to be valid for a certain period after entry. For example, for Vietnam this period is 3 months, and for Thailand - six months. Additionally, check whether your passport meets such requirements as the presence of several blank pages for affixing visas and stamps, the absence of any marks or blots, put down by hand, the presence of the signature of the owner of the document, as well as the purity and integrity of each sheet.
