Instructions

Step 1

Find the last letter sent to you by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PF RF). It comes to every working citizen annually and contains information about his pension savings. If you do not receive such information reports, contact your local PF to have your address included in the mailing list.

Step 2

Use one of the so-called "pension calculators" for calculations. They can be found on the websites of non-state pension funds (NPF) and other institutions, for example, on the portal of the capital management company.

Step 3

Enter your personal information into the calculator. Indicate age based on when you intend to retire. As you know, people working in the Far North and regions equated to them have the right to retire 5-10 years earlier than other categories of citizens.

Step 4

Also indicate your salary, the amount of pension savings (it is in the letter of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation), exciting pension contributions, if you pay them. In the "Estimated return on funds" section, indicate 7% if you have not transferred your money to an NPF. Otherwise, find information about the performance of your fund on its website.

Step 5

Click on the "Calculate" button. The system will give you the amount of your future funded and insurance portions of your pension. Please note that these are approximate figures and are calculated without inflation. The real amount of your pension in the future may differ from the indicated one, for example, if your salary changes dramatically during your life. But the older you are, the more accurate the calculated numbers.
