In most cases, concert tickets are not cheap. Therefore, the desire to return money for them is quite natural in case of cancellation of the event or inability to attend it. Moreover, the law in this case is on the side of the consumer.
It is necessary
- - application;
- - concert ticket.
Instructions
Step 1
If the concert was canceled, you have the full right to a refund of the money spent on the ticket or exchange of one ticket for another. This area is regulated by the Consumer Protection Law, and the violator can be brought to administrative responsibility.
Step 2
To get your money back, first try to contact the ticket office where you bought your ticket and ask for a refund. If they refuse to do this, ask them about the organizer of the concert event and find his legal address.
Step 3
Write two identical applications asking for a refund for a ticket to a failed concert, attach a copy of the ticket and hand one copy of the documents to the head of the company in charge of the concert. On the second application, he must sign his receipt. If he refuses to accept them, send the documents by registered mail with notification and a list of attachments. After 30 days from the date of delivery, he is obliged to return the money.
Step 4
Without waiting for your money in the first month, feel free to hire a lawyer and go to court. At the same time, do not forget to ask the court to recover from the organizer the costs of a representative of your interests and compensation for moral damage caused to you.
Step 5
You have the right to return the ticket even if you decide not to go to the concert. According to Art. 32 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", you have the right to refuse services at any time, subject to payment of the costs incurred by the organizer. At the same time, Art. 252 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation of 2000-05-08 says that all costs must be justified and documented. If the organizer confirms the expenses incurred by documents, you will be able to receive only a part of the amount.
Step 6
To return the ticket and get money back for it, first talk to the cashier or the management of the concert organizer, based on the specified laws. If this does not help, proceed according to the above rules.
Step 7
When money has not been returned within 30 days, try filing a claim with your local cultural committee. In it, fully explain the situation and attach a copy of the submitted application for a refund. The court will be the last resort.
