Pavel Dolgov about himself

As a child, Dolgov dreamed of playing football, although his father insisted that Pavel follow in his footsteps and become a military man. They brought up the guy in severity. If they wanted to punish for something, they usually took away the computer. It was a very harsh punishment for the boy - then he could not do without a computer.

Pavel played his first matches for Baltika (Kaliningrad). At one of the youth tournaments, the “breeders” from “Zenith” drew attention to the young player.

Remembering his path in sports, Pavel admits that before the first training session in the main squad, he was very worried. The most difficult test for a Zenit footballer is communicating with the club's “stars” and football fans. In the old days, Dolgov could not even dream that he would one day play side by side with players of this level. However, newcomers to Zenit are not offending, but even encouraged and helped as much as possible - some with advice, some with support during matches.

Dolgov believes that football opened up opportunities for him to be creative and work on himself.
