Biography

Vladimir Dmitrievich was born in the Volyn region of Ukraine in 1946. Five years later, the parents moved to Donbass to restore the mines destroyed by the Nazi bombings. And then they stayed there to work. Over time, Vladimir's older brother joined them, and, apparently, he himself was waiting for the same fate.

However, the future actor from early childhood was interested in various kinds of creativity: he drew well, sculpted from plasticine, and was also one of the activists of the amateur theater.

However, tradition is tradition, and now Volodya is sitting at his desk in the Rutchenkovsky mining technical school, studying the development of coal deposits. The technical school also had amateur performances, and Talashko was one of the cheers in it. Once, at a reading competition, he was noticed by the director of the Donetsk theater, and invited him to his troupe. So Vladimir suddenly became a theater actor.

After working in the theater for two years, Talashko went to serve in military service. He had time to think about his future profession, about life in general, and after the army he decided to enter the Kiev Theater Institute. But instead of the theatrical faculty he got to the film faculty - he was persuaded by the teacher who was recruiting this course. Probably, he liked the bright texture of the young man: tall, blond hair, well-defined cheekbones and piercing eyes.

Talashko became famous after the release of the legendary film "Only" old men "go to battle" (1973). His hero - Lieutenant Sergei Skvortsov - turned out to be very lively and real. Not some screen hero, but a man with his own weaknesses and shortcomings, which he overcomes with the help of his comrades.

After this picture, there were other roles, also very significant and loved by the audience. These are the films "The Old Fortress", "Conscience", "Captain Nemo" and others. Its heroes are military men, policemen, sailors and workers. As a rule, these are heroic personalities and fighters for justice.

In addition to working in the cinema, he hosted several programs on Ukrainian television, was the organizer of the festival "Old films about the main thing", the organizer of the Leonid Bykov Foundation.

He also teaches at the university where he himself once studied at the film faculty. Teaches students not to chase fleeting glory, but to work in full force - as he was taught himself.
