early years
Sergey Ivanovich was born on November 10, 1970. His hometown is Moscow. Sergey studied well at school, devoted a lot of time to sports (skiing, swimming, wrestling). The father enrolled the boy in a football school opened at the Dynamo club. Sergey's first coach is Gennady Gusarov.

Later, Ovchinnikov married Lyutovaya Anna. They have a son and a daughter.
