It is believed that the accordion originated from the Russian accordion, which was improved by the German master Demian in 1829. He called the instrument an accordion, although this word got into Russian not from German, but from French. Nevertheless, even at the present time in Russia the most common accordions are from Germany.

Differences between tools

The accordion can be easily distinguished from the button accordion and accordion by the following features. Secondly, the accordion usually has smaller dimensions and a small set of octaves.
There are many types of accordions, but most of them have one bass row and two chord rows on the left keyboard. The right keyboard differs depending on the type of accordion: usually it is two rows of a diatonic scale, there are three chromatic rows (accordion "chrome"), there may be keys (Saratov accordion), and sometimes there is an accordion, where instead of the right keyboard there are only three buttons (accordion)). In general, all hand harmonics that are not called an accordion or button accordion are classified as harmonics.
