The parents were under arrest on charges of collaborating with the fascist invaders. According to the verdict of the court, they were sent to serve their sentences in the Siberian north, in the city of Norilsk.
Evdokimov's childhood years passed in the family of Khariton's grandfather, who worked as a village blacksmith. They loved the child and from a young age taught him to work, to treat elders with respect and not to offend the weak. The favorable climate of those places and the picturesque nature contributed to the birth and development of the song culture. It was in his native places that the boy developed a love for singing. At first, these were timid attempts, which were approved and supported by Aunt Ganna, my mother's sister. When Yaroslav was nine years old, his mother came to the village and took him with her.
By that time, special educational institutions had already appeared in Norilsk. In parallel with his studies at a comprehensive school, the boy attended a music school. Then he entered the local music school to get a secondary specialized education. There was no vocal department at the school and I had to master the technique of playing the double bass. In the future, the biography developed according to the standard scheme. He served three years in the army. In the construction battalion. Proved himself as the best company commander in the lead singer. After demobilization, he returned to his native village.
From the restaurant to the stage
In the countryside, there were no decent prospects for Yaroslav. Without much hesitation, he moved to Dnepropetrovsk and got a job as a worker at a car tire factory. The work is hard and dirty. But somehow I had to live. Once he was invited to sing in a restaurant in the evening. Later it will become clear that from that moment his vocal career began. In the hustle and bustle of everyday affairs and troubles, Evdokimov met his future wife. Irina was in the city for practice, and permanently lived in Minsk. For various reasons, the young husband and wife decided to move to Belarus.
Not every modern person can imagine how a homeless singer lives in a big city. Yaroslav Evdokimov has a wife and little daughter in his arms, daily rehearsals and performances. And there is no home. And here is a happy occasion - after performing in the program "Memory" dedicated to the Victory Day, he was admitted to the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Belarusian Military District. Household problems are solved as soon as possible. As part of the creative team, Evdokimov traveled all over the country. The singer's popularity, as they say, was off the charts.
