A popular domestic comedian and parodist, actor, singer and TV presenter, as well as a politician - Mikhail Sergeyevich Evdokimov - is well known throughout the post-Soviet space precisely for his parody role, in which he was remembered as a performer of humorous monologues. And since 1992, for twelve years, he headed the Evdokimov Theater, which he himself founded. In addition, the Honored Artist of Russia (1994) managed to build a political career, heading the administration of the Altai Territory from April 2004 to August 2005.

Mikhail Evdokimov's unique colloquial genre, based on the vernacular and liveliness of the language, became the foundation of his stage image, so beloved by the army of his fans. Each performance of the artist was always accompanied not only by the unquestioning recognition of his talent in the field of village folklore, but also by the formation of an everyday language based on the master's numerous catch phrases.

On December 6, 1957, the future artist and politician was born in a large working-class family in Novokuznetsk. When Misha was only one year old, the family moved to the Altai Territory (the village of Verkh-Obskoye), which became the small homeland of a talented person. From childhood, the boy showed incredible artistic abilities in the spoken genre, gathering a crowd of onlookers around him when he told various funny stories.

After receiving a certificate of secondary education, Evdokimov entered the cultural and educational school in Barnaul (the department of balalaika players), and in order to master a working specialty at a local engine plant, he had to complete a monthly course of grinders. Then there was an urgent service, work as artistic director in a rural recreation center and student years from 1979 at the Institute of Trade in Novosibirsk. It was at the university, where he very soon was able to become the captain of the KVN student team, that the red-haired nugget realized what his creative vocation was.

After receiving a diploma of higher education in 1983, Mikhail got a job at the regional philharmonic society in the capital, where he revealed himself as an artist of the spoken genre. The debut in this role took place in 1984, when he first appeared on the country's television screens in a concert program dedicated to the "March 8" holiday. And after a few months, everyone learned about Mikhail Evdokimov, when he became a permanent participant in the rating program Around Laughter.

At the end of the "eighties" Evdokimov entered the legendary GITIS, deciding to get a theatrical education. In parallel with his studies at the university, he continued to actively participate in concert programs broadcast on television. And the "nineties" marked his creative career with a decade of cinematic activity. During this period, he starred in seven films, among which the audience most liked "About the businessman Foma", "I do not want to marry" and "Should we send us a messenger." At the same time, Mikhail Sergeevich showed himself in musical creativity, releasing discs with his vocal compositions.

Evdokimov's political career began in the mid-nineties, when he ran for the State Duma from his native land. And in 2004-2005 he was realized as the governor of the Altai Territory. Here he was remembered throughout the country as an "honest man" who came up with the slogan "Jokes aside!" He made a powerful attempt to rid the region of the corruption of power and restore order in an economy focused exclusively on the interests of the business elite, including the elimination of well-known drug trafficking. And this conflict of interests ended with the tragic death of the "people's" governor.

Personal life of the artist and politician

The only marriage of Mikhail Evdokimov with his wife Galina Evdokimova was the reason for the birth of his daughter Anna. However, as it was revealed after the death of the beloved artist and politician throughout the country, he had two secret wives in the status of "civil". Nadezhda Zharkova became the mother of their joint daughter Anastasia, and Inna Belova became the son of Daniel.

A terrible tragedy associated with a car accident took place on August 7, 2005. On the Barnaul-Biysk highway, a Mercedes, in whose cabin there were Evdokimov with his wife, a driver and a security guard, flew off the roadway into a ditch. All the victims, except for his wife Galina, died on the spot. The official investigation believed that the cause of the accident was that the driver lost control of the car at high speed.
