At the same time, the young man graduates from school and reflects on entering the university. His parents wanted their son to graduate, but Tom still chose a football career. From the age of 17, football has become for him not just a hobby, but also a real profession.

Career

In 2009, Tom began his rapid career growth. He became a regular player on the Manchester United team. At 18, the footballer scored his first away goal against Middlesbrough. The new figure in football attracted the attention of journalists. Tom Thorpe was often mentioned in the media, and one of the reporters in his article called him "the previously unused pioneer of the game."

In one of the games, Tom received several serious injuries and was forced to retire. But even as a reserve player, Tom took part in 12 league games, most of which he spent in an unfamiliar role of a central midfielder. Tom Thorpe moved to India in September 2017 and became the seventh foreign player to sign for the PTC Indian Super League franchise, now run by former English athlete Teddy Sheringham.
