The Gospels tell us that during his earthly life Christ performed many miracles. In them the Jewish people found confirmation of the divine Person of Christ. However, there were those for whom the miraculous events caused a lot of indignation, because the Jewish legalists and Pharisees did not want to recognize God in Christ.

Some of the most impressive miracles that Jesus Christ performed were the resurrection of the dead. The Gospels tell of three cases. Thus, the Lord resurrected the son of the widow of Nain. Christ took pity on the mother's grief and brought her son back to life. The resurrection of Jairus's daughter also took place. But the most unique case of the resurrection of the deceased can be called the miracle of the righteous Lazarus, who had been buried in a cave for four days. The story tells that after the resurrection of Lazarus, the latter became the bishop of the Church. They even wanted to kill Righteous Lazarus because he was a living witness of the great miracle of Christ.

Christ healed many sick people. Special passages in the gospels tell of the healing of blind people. Thus, Christ returned sight to a person who was blind from birth.

Christ healed the paralyzed. In the modern sense, a person who has a limited ability to move, that is, a disabled person, can be called relaxed. There were several cases when the relaxed began to walk.

In ancient times, there was a specific disease called leprosy. It was a disease in which a person's body rots while alive. They tried not to communicate with lepers, they were avoided in every possible way, and Christ healed such people.

The Gospels also tell about other miracles of Christ. For example, the Lord walked on the sea during a storm, could feed several thousand people with just a few pieces of bread and fish, and also cast out demons.

All testimonies of the miracles performed by Christ clearly showed the certain divine authority of the Lord, because in some cases of healings Christ also forgave sins, which in itself is the right of only God.
