Biography and personal life

Ture Lindhardt was born on December 24, 1974 in Copenhagen. Later, his family, mother Anne Lindhardt and father Mogens Lindhardt, moved from the capital of Denmark to Roskilde. Father Touré held a high post, he was a minister.

Ture Lindhardt was educated at the School of Acting in Odense. After graduation, since 1998, he has been actively involved in theatrical performances and projects on Danish television. In 2000, Lindhardt landed the lead role in the Danish drama A Place Nearby. His partners on the set were Gita Nerby, Ture Lindhardt, Fritz Hellmuth, Henning Moritzen and Magnus Stahl Jacobsen. The film was nominated for the Crystal Globe in Karlovy Vary.

In 2002 and 2003, Touré got the lead roles in several Danish and English films with the original titles Kokken, Slim Slam Slum, Nude, Descending … and Bondefanger. In 2004, together with such actors as Daniel Brühl, August Diehl, Anna Maria Mue and Yana Pallaske, he plays in the German melodrama Why Thinking About Love? The picture was awarded by the European Film Academy. The following year, he starred in the title role in the drug addict crime drama Northern Power.

2007 saw a turnaround in Lindhardt's career. They began to invite him mainly to the main roles in films and TV shows. He played in the drama Daisy Diamond, which tells the story of how an unplanned child ruined the actress's plans to become successful and famous. Then Toure starred in the German drama "A Trip to America", the military thriller "Flame and Citron", the comedy "Blue Men", the drama "Little Soldier". Lindhardt can also be seen in the melodrama Brotherhood, the TV series Blekinge Street, and the comedy melodrama The Truth About Men. Touré got the leading roles in the drama "The Island", the TV series "The Bridge", the American melodrama "Don't Turn Off the Lights", the German drama "Formentera", the Canadian comedy horror film "Eddie: The Sleepwalking Cannibal."
