The future leader of the most popular Russian musical group Uma2rmaH, like his brother Vladimir, was born into a family far from professional art. Sergei Kristovsky's mom was an engineer, and dad played for the Dynamo-Gorky hockey team. The parents of the boys loved to sing, but they did not even consider vocals as a profession for their children.
From early childhood, Sergei played hockey, showed excellent results in this sport, but a severe injury to the collarbone at the age of 19 canceled his plans to become a professional athlete. It was during that difficult period of his life that Kristovsky Sr. picked up a guitar.
For the guy, music has become a kind of outlet. Sergei was not going to enter a specialized educational institution in this direction. After school, he did not plan to go anywhere at all. He worked as a loader, postman, handyman, turner, nanny in kindergarten. Performing in public was just a hobby, but in the end it became the main and favorite pastime.

For some time Sergey Kristovsky became the bass-guitarist of the "Country-Salun" collective. His author's compositions added to the group's repertoire, but he did not receive satisfaction from the work. In 1995, the Musician made another attempt to assemble his own collective, called it "Sherwood". This group of Sergei Kristovsky performs to this day, but its creator is known to Russian and European music lovers as the founder and permanent member of another group - Uma2rmaH.
Uma2rmaH - with a song for life
This musical group has two "faces". It is impossible to imagine him without brothers Sergey and Vladimir Kristovsky. The group was formed in 2003 at the initiative of both musicians. And the name was jointly chosen by them - both Sergei and Vladimir were literally in love with the American actress Uma Thurman. In order to avoid problems with their favorite, they somewhat changed her name and received the original name for their musical group.
The very first performance of Uma2rmaH at the concert of the singer Zemfira was literally a "shot". The Kristovsky brothers were noticed, the compositions of their group hit the charts, filmmakers of the Russian and then European level became interested in their work.
Songs by Sergei Kristovsky have become the soundtracks of many highly rated films. The collective has already recorded 7 studio albums, many clips for their compositions. Personal life of Sergei Kristovsky
Sergei has always been "in demand" from the opposite sex. Even in his youth, he was seriously in love with the charming girl Lyuba, even lived with her for some time after graduating from school, but the couple never came to an official marriage.
Parting with Lyubov Sergei was very difficult, and either in revenge on the girl, or to calm down himself, he got married. The chosen one was a girl named Anna. But this relationship did not last long either.
Only the second official marriage with the daughter of a colleague in one of the musical groups Natalya became long and happy for Kristovsky Sr. Natasha gave birth to Sergei four children - sons Eugene, Vlad, Ilya and a daughter named Alice.
The news of the divorce of Sergei and Natalia Kristovskikh came as a shock to their loved ones and to the fans of the Uma2rmaH group. The couple broke up in 2014.
