Unfortunately, both adults and children are forced to put up with violence in modern society quite often. Moreover, a similar phenomenon can be encountered not only on the street, but also in the family and in educational institutions. You cannot put up with such behavior towards yourself, defend yourself and fight for your rights.
Instructions
Step 1
Teach your child to know and defend their rights, not to allow violence either from other children or from teachers. Introduce them to the main documents protecting their inviolability: the Family Code of the Russian Federation, the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Encourage your children not to be silent about the physical and psychological abuse they receive. They need to tell their parents without fear or delay.
Step 2
Tell the children that they cannot go somewhere with strangers, no matter what they are promised. They should know that such people will even name and refer to their parents. Encourage your child to call you back and report the situation right away in these situations.
Step 3
If you are afraid of committing violence against you in a public place, try to avoid situations that contribute to this. Do not return home late at night alone, be sure to ask to meet you. Avoid dark streets and underpasses. Do not enter the entrance or the elevator with a stranger, it is better to skip ahead and take the next elevator.
Step 4
Do not sit in the car with a stranger, even if he seems to you a pleasant and open person. In case of an urgent need to quickly get home, it is better to use the call of an official taxi. Moreover, it is worth writing down the car number and calling a loved one with a warning about your trip right in the presence of the driver.
Step 5
If you do come across an aggressive person in a deserted place, do not show him your fear and confusion. Behave calmly and try to negotiate, let him know that they will meet you and in case of absence they will look for you. Do not fight for the safety of things, it is better to think about preserving your own life and health. However, try to memorize the appearance of the criminal in order to facilitate the work of the police later.
Step 6
Try not to provoke the offender with your behavior and defiant appearance, at least when you return home late.
Step 7
Do not open the door to strangers yourself and teach this to children, and, of course, do not let strangers into your apartment.
