In the year when he turns 17, every young man must go through the initial military registration. The younger generation wants to be aware of how this event is taking place - such literacy will help them to behave confidently at the medical commission and in the face of the head of the military commissariat department.
Preparing for HLP
The head of the conscription department and his assistants begin preparations for the next initial military registration in a few months. This process includes sending inquiries to all educational institutions of the city or district to which the department of the military commissariat belongs, as well as to the children's clinic. Upon receipt of answers, the professional selection specialist compiles a consolidated list of all young men who turn 17 in the accounting year.
Since the PPVU always takes place in the same month - February, then on the eve of it, each future conscript is notified by the secretary of his educational institution about the need to visit the department of the military commissariat in order to pass special tests that reveal the level of his development, as well as a predisposition to one or another military specialty.
How is the event going
Employees of the conscription department form personal files of conscripts, on which they write the surname, name, patronymic and full date of birth. The entire payroll of young men is divided into several parts by day. This is necessary for the convenience of work. For example, on February 1, 2 and 3, one school brings students, on February 4, 5 and 8 - another, on February 9 and 10 - a vocational school.
The young men summoned on a summons gather at the checkpoint - a large room with a table and several pairs of chairs: an employee of the military commissariat department sits on one, and a future conscript on the other. The employee takes a personal file and verifies it with the passport data of the guy sitting next to him, then asks about the marital status: father, mother, brothers and sisters - their date and place of birth, address and work. The young man gives other information about himself: registration and real place of residence, where he studies. The presence of convictions and other possible contacts with the police is being investigated.
In addition to a passport, future conscripts must have a certificate of family composition, a characteristic from an educational institution, four photographs 3 * 4 cm, preferably non-colored, matte. One of them will go to a personal file, the other - to a registered certificate, two more will be put into a pocket.
After passing the interview, the young man goes to a medical commission, where specialist doctors check his state of health, and the paramedic of the military commissariat department is issued a preliminary category of fitness for military service. If necessary, adolescents are sent for additional examination.
After lunch, the members of the draft board gather: the head of the department of the military commissariat, the head of the city or district administration or his deputy, representatives of the education authorities, the police department. They make a decision on the initial military registration. After that, the young man must go to the office of the recruiting department and receive a certificate of registration.
