Step 1
Wait for the call of the soldier himself with a message about where he is. This should be expected at least two to three days after the call. First, future soldiers are collected at the distribution point, and only after that they are sent to a unit designated for them. Since cell phones are often confiscated, contact should only be expected after arriving at the unit. From there, the soldier will be able to call using a service phone or a mobile whoever is allowed to keep it. For example, it is possible to use the officer's phone with his permission.
Step 2
Call the military enlistment office at the place of residence of the soldier, in which he is registered, or visit this institution in person. If you have family ties with him, you should be given information about him. Usually, the information to the military registration and enlistment office reaches a week after the arrival of the soldier at the unit, so be guided by this period.
Step 3
Find out the necessary information from the letter that should come to the parents of the conscript. It will indicate the location of the unit, its number and type of troops. Such a letter can go to the address up to three weeks, so by that time you can already receive a letter from the soldier himself. But the speed of its delivery will depend on the distance between its current location and home, as well as on the peculiarities of the mail in a particular region.
Step 4
If you only know the number of a military unit, you can find out its address yourself. To do this, you can use an Internet search.
