Biography
The family in which the future Dagestan teacher and scientist was born was very educated. Akhmed Magomedov's father was a respected man in his native village of Batlaich. He knew the Arabic language, was engaged in the interpretation of the holy book of Muslims Koran and taught children to read and write and science. Magomed Abdurakhmanov had a teaching gift. Before the Great Patriotic War, he headed schools in the regions of Dagestan. He fought at the front and died very early - at the age of 44. Akhmed was born in 1930, on June 28th in his ancestral village. His mother Umuzhat passed away at the age of 39. The boy and his three sisters became orphans in the care of relatives.
Akhmed received his secondary education at the famous Aranin school, which now bears the name of Rasul Gamzatov. In the year he graduated from high school, the guy enters Moscow State University. His choice was the history department of a Moscow university. Akhmed Magomedov received his diploma in history in 1953. He returns to his native Dagestan, where the pedagogical institute became his place of work.
Education and career
The Dagestani historian had an enormous craving for knowledge. He decides to go to graduate school at Moscow State University and for the period from 1954 to 1957 he wrote his first scientific work, which formed the basis of his Ph. D. thesis. The successful defense of the candidate's degree and the already formed teaching style and life experience were appreciated by the government of the Caucasian republic. Since 1957, Akhmed Magomedov has been an assistant to the chairman of the Economic Council of the Dagestan ASSR. Culture, education and science are the spheres supervised by Akhmed Magomedov.
In 1958, the scientist transferred to a teaching position at the Dagestan University. And later he heads the pedagogical institute as a rector. Here his main career took place - after working as a senior lecturer in the Department of the History of the CPSU at DGU Magomedov found himself in the thick of student life. For 23 years of work as rector, he managed to turn the institute into a solid educational institution with a powerful scientific, technical and material base, where students and graduate students could engage in science and creativity.
Since 1983, Akhmed Magomedov was elected rector of the DSU. In addition to managing the institute, Akhmed Magomedov continued to engage in scientific research. He has more than a hundred scientific papers and four monographs on his account.
Personal life
Although the scientist's parents passed away early, his family supported him. Numerous aunts and uncles, beloved sisters were the mainstay in life. He met his faithful and beloved wife Zabidat during his student years. She also studied in Moscow. Young people got married in 195. Soon the wife gave her husband the firstborn. Over the years of their life together, they raised two sons and a daughter. The doctor of historical sciences, professor and rector of the Dagestan University finished his life on January 2, 1991. All Dagestan came to see off an outstanding person on his last journey.
