The formation and strengthening of statehood is a long and multifaceted process. All cases and procedures take many decades. Taras Vyacheslavovich Chornovol was born on June 1, 1964 in the family of an active fighter for the independence of Ukraine. Parents at that time lived in Lviv. My father was engaged in journalism, promoted democratic principles to the masses and tried to form anti-Russian sentiments in society. The mother worked as a therapist in the city clinic and regularly attended church.

Political activity
After school, Chornovol entered the biological faculty of the local university. But after the first semester, I realized that this was not his path. Without completing his education, he dropped out and worked as a laboratory assistant before being drafted into the army - he washed test tubes and flasks. In 1984, after returning from service, he got a job as an orderly in the operating department of the Lviv Regional Hospital, where he worked for five years. When "perestroika" unfolded on the territory of the USSR, Taras became one of the founders of the Union of Independent Ukrainian Youth.
Perestroika processes were gaining momentum. The energy and creativity of Chornovil was appreciated and invited to the newspaper "Young Ukraine" for the post of editor-in-chief. In the biography of the now famous politician, it is noted that from that moment his career began. In the 1990 elections, Taras Vyacheslavovich was elected a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council. In 1995, his father, Vyacheslav Maksimovich Chernovol, who headed the People's Movement of Ukraine party, took him to the post of political assistant.

Since 2000, Taras Chornovil has been regularly elected as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Over the past period, he did not put forward any cardinal legislative initiatives. But he worked conscientiously. In 1999, his father died tragically in a car accident.
