Induction briefing is mandatory both when hiring a new employee and in any situation in which it is assumed that the instructed will act in a potentially life-threatening environment. The goal is to tell the person about the possible risks when working in certain conditions.

Although, as you know, the introductory briefing is perceived by many as an unnecessary formality, nevertheless such things should not be neglected. If you have all your arms and legs intact at the moment, and everything seems to be fine, then this does not mean at all that your finger will not be chopped off by an industrial fan if you are careless with it. These are the things that every instructor should understand.
Step 2
Briefing is carried out not only with newcomers, but also with temporary workers, business travelers, students (students or schoolchildren undergoing internship at the enterprise). Also, briefing should precede laboratory and practical exercises in the labor office and on the street.
Step 3
So, in order to conduct a briefing, it is necessary to choose a room that provides the ability to freely accommodate all instructed. Usually this is a labor protection office or a room specially equipped for such purposes.
Step 4
The briefing is carried out by a specially authorized person. Such a person can be either an occupational safety specialist or any employee appointed by a senior manager to this position.
Step 5
Various demonstration materials can be used to increase the effectiveness of the briefing. Such materials mean not only posters, but also a video film, or reference programs specially developed for such purposes.
Step 6
The purpose of the reference applications is to demonstrate all the necessary regulatory, legal and other documents, one way or another related to the topic in question.
Step 7
After conducting the induction briefing, it is necessary to make an entry in the induction briefing register with the obligatory signatures of the instructors and instructors.
