Grigory Izrailevich Gorin (real name - Offstein) was born on March 12, 1940 in Moscow. Gregory's father was a professional soldier, he went through the war. Mom worked as an ambulance doctor. Her maiden name - Gorinskaya - became the prototype of the pseudonym, which the writer later took for himself.
From a young age, Gorin showed interest in literary creativity. He began writing poetry at the age of seven. His first poetic experiments were naive: the little author praised the greatness of the proletariat and called for the struggle against capitalism.
As a schoolboy, Gorin wrote comic stories of satirical content. The author drew themes for his works from school life.
After school, Gorin entered the Moscow Medical Institute, which he successfully graduated in 1963. For several years Grigory Izrailevich worked as an ambulance doctor. But the love of literary creativity has done its job. Gorin continued to write, his feuilletons were published in popular newspapers and magazines. Gorin had a chance to lead the department of humor in the magazine "Youth".
Lyubov Kereselidze became Gorin's wife. A thoroughbred Georgian, she worked as an editor at Mosfilm. The relationship between the spouses was warm and trusting. Friends and colleagues considered the Gorins to be a happy couple.
The writer and screenwriter passed away unexpectedly. It happened on June 15, 2000. The cause of death was a heart attack.
