Praying is the duty of a Muslim. Muslim theologians have developed a procedure for addressing God, which depends not only on the time of prayer, but also on the gender of the believer - women's prayer has its own specifics.

Step 1
Find out if you can pray. A woman's condition during menstruation, postpartum bleeding or gynecological problems accompanied by bloody discharge is considered unclean, so she needs to wait until these conditions end and pray later. At the same time, pregnancy is not an obstacle to prayer. In late pregnancy, if it is difficult for a woman to bend over, she can pray while sitting, and in case of a serious condition, for example, an illness, even lying down.
Step 2
Prepare correctly for prayer. To do this, you need to perform a small ablution - wash your hands to the elbows, feet to the ankles, ears and face. Full, or large ablution, is required if, before prayer, a Muslim woman had sexual intercourse or she has recently stopped bleeding. Also, women need to wipe the nail polish off, as some Muslim scholars consider ablution invalid if there was paint on the nails. Clothing must be clean and in accordance with the requirements of Islam - a woman must have her entire body covered, except for the face and hands. Clothing should not be tight or transparent, should not hinder movement or slip, as Muslim prayer implies prostration.
Step 3
Choose a suitable place for prayer. A woman can pray in a mosque in a special women's hall, but it is also allowed for her to pray at home. The main thing is that there is an opportunity to determine in which direction the Qiblah is, since it is in this direction that it is necessary to bow. It should be borne in mind that, although Muslims often perform collective prayers on the street during major holidays, this applies most often to men - it is preferable for women to pray alone or in the company of believers of the same gender.
Step 4
Perform prayer in accordance with the requirements of Islam. The procedure for prayer is almost identical for both women and men, with rare exceptions - for example, when a man is supposed to raise his hands to his head, women cross them on their chest. It is also believed that a woman should pray modestly - she should not speak too loudly.
