We know that in the theater there are performances where only one actor plays - this is a one-man show. And there are actors who have played in just one film or series. This can be said about Nejati Shashmaz, who has played the same role for many years.
Probably, it suits him, because the project "Valley of Wolves" began to be filmed back in 2003, and the audience is still watching it with pleasure. As part of the project, in addition to four seasons of the main series, the episodes "Iraq" (2006), "Terror" (2007), "Trap" (2007-2016), "Palestine" (2011), "Homeland" (2017) were sequentially released. Shashmaz plays here the main character - Polat Alemdar.
However, in parallel with his work on the set of the series, Nejati managed to do a lot: he wrote the script for one of the episodes of "Valley of the Wolves" (2017), as well as the script for the series "Duty" (2017- …). He also directed and simultaneously produced two films.
We can say that natural acting talent is developing, and in the future Shashmaz has good prospects in the film industry.
Biography
Nejati Shashmaz was born on the outskirts of Ankara in 1971. His small homeland is the town of Enakyz, where the future actor spent his childhood. His family was quite wealthy, so he was able to get an education at a university in Ankara, and then in Canada. From a young age, he found his vocation in the development of the hotel business and tourism, therefore he received a corresponding specialty.
After completing his studies, the young man thought about where he could realize his ambitions and apply his strength, and decided to stop at the United States. He made no mistake in his calculations, and soon built a very profitable and profitable business in the field of tourism.
Shashmaz would have continued to work in America, but the tragedy of September 11, 2000 ruined all his plans: his parents were very worried about their son and persuaded him to move back to Turkey.
There was no choice but to start doing business in Turkey. Here Shashmaz, apart from his usual affairs, opened an insurance agency. The range of his activities and business ability is simply amazing.
Film career
A chance helped Shashmaz get into the series. His brother is in the company of people who are related to the film industry. One day Nejati went to his house and found guests there, among whom was the director of Valley of the Wolves. He was just looking for a hero for further filming, and when he saw the newcomer, he realized that this was the person he needed. The fact is that he saw in Nejati the features of Polad, his gestures and facial expressions as he imagined them. So Shashmaz became a celebrity and remains so to this day.
Personal life
Shooting in the project took Shashmaz a lot of time, and only in 2012 did he think about the family. It was then that he met Nagehan Kashikchi, they fell in love and became husband and wife. They had two children.
Unfortunately, in 2019 the couple divorced, and all this happened with a scandal and courts, with all sorts of rumors and gossip. Nagehan sued her husband for a family villa and a boutique of fashionable women's clothing.
