Instructions

Step 1

Study the legislation. In accordance with paragraph 4, paragraph 5 of clause 7 of the Law No. 27-FZ "On individual (personified) accounting in the compulsory pension insurance system", an insured person who is not officially employed is obliged to independently apply for the restoration of a lost document at the place of residence. Visit the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. Take your passport with you, the specialist will take a photocopy of the necessary pages (the first and with the registration) and return it back. Write an application for a duplicate, put a number and a signature. The application is considered within 30 days, then a decision is made - to issue a new certificate or to refuse.

Step 2

Contact your employer if you have an employment contract. There are times when they are hired without a pension certificate, for example, if they are very interested in a candidate or there is no time to draw up a document, and it is planned to do this later. After the conclusion of civil law relations, the employer is responsible for obtaining a duplicate. It is he who, in 14 working days, must submit an application for the issuance of a certificate to the territorial office of the PFR. The document must be handed over to the employee within 7 days against signature.

Step 3

Fill out the application very carefully. If you enter an incorrect personal account number, last name, first name and patronymic, or they do not correspond to the information contained in the personal account, the FIU will refuse to issue a duplicate.

Step 4

Check whether the registration was made with the FIU at the previous place of work, whether a personal account was opened. This happens when the employer submitted the necessary information, but for some reason did not receive the certificate. You will have to contact the FIU yourself to pick up the document. Also, if the new management provides information and receives a refusal to register an application due to the fact that an individual personal account has already been opened, it is necessary to find out the current insurance number, and then obtain a duplicate of the certificate. The employer may instead of refusing to receive confirmation of registration and pension certificate along with an accompanying statement.

Step 5

Having lost your "retirement card" already being employed, do not worry. On the one hand, the insurance number of the pension certificate is already known, and monthly contributions are paid to the Pension Fund of Russia. According to the provisions of Article 7 of Law No. 27-FZ, you just need to get a new certificate. You can contact the employer yourself with an application for a duplicate, the same applies to cases when you changed your last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth, place of birth or gender, found inaccuracies or errors in the information contained in the pension certificate. Within 14 days, the employer will send the application to the territorial office of the Pension Fund of Russia along with a list of documents, and you will be able to receive the document.
