In an interview, Ukrainian producer Yuriy Falyosa shared that he feels young, at the age of 25. Work with gifted youth, a healthy lifestyle and a young wife help him to maintain this state.
Childhood and youth
Yuri Falyosa was born on April 12, 1961, 15 minutes after the first space launch of Yuri Gagarin. The boy's father worked as a driver, his mother worked in the accounting department. The family had to change their place of residence several times. Yura was born in the city of Kachkanar near Sverdlovsk, went to first grade in the city of Zhdanov, Donetsk region, and received a certificate of secondary education in Magadan.
Education
Yuri's childhood was inextricably linked with aviation. He was engaged in aircraft modeling sports in a school circle, parachute jumped and dreamed of the sky. But for health reasons, the road to pilots for the young man was closed. To enter the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, he had to memorize all the tables for the test of vision.
Already in his student years, Falesa became interested in music. The theoretical knowledge was given by a music school and a music college. In the Krok group, the young man sang and played the guitar, then began performing with the Alcyone group. Both projects turned out to be quite successful, the musicians gathered full halls and stadiums. But it turned out to be difficult to combine the tour schedule and study at the institute, so Yuri left the big stage and began to sing in restaurants in Kiev. The amount of earnings at that time was quite impressive - up to 500 rubles a month.
Yuri Falyosa is a versatile person, so he did not limit himself to a couple of specialties. He graduated from the Law Academy, the University of Marxism-Leninism and received a correspondence education at the Institute of Foreign Languages.
The beginning of a working career
After completing his studies at KIIGA, the graduate returned to Magadan. His working days were held at the local airport. Falyosa worked as a chief engineer, in 1986 he headed the special transport department of the city aviation department. With the beginning of perestroika, Yuri was among the entrepreneurs who opened the first cooperatives in the city. In parallel with his work, the young man headed the Komsomol management organization. Once Yuri went to study in Moscow through the Komsomol. The delegates asked the organizers to arrange a meeting with Yeltsin, who was then popular among young people. Having received a refusal, the guys themselves contacted Boris Nikolayevich, and he received 16 people in his office. Thalesa recorded the conversation on a dictaphone, and then the meeting was replicated throughout the country. Upon arrival in Magadan, KGB officers and workers of the regional committee were waiting for the young man. To avoid problems, Yuri quit his job and moved to Ukraine.
The path to show business
In Chernivtsi, Yuriy very quickly realized that he would not be able to work in civil aviation. It was not difficult for him to open several small businesses and cooperatives. Legal education and work experience in a large organization helped. He was engaged in trade, construction, drove cars from abroad.
Then, in the Palace of Culture of the local machine-building plant, together with friends, he created a production center, which included a concert hall and a disco hall. Young people from all over Ukraine were drawn to discos in the Titan nightclub. In the 90s, this place was chosen by bandits, and after another shootout, it was closed. Falyosa's team got busy with music. The main occupation was the organization of various competitions and festivals.
Successful projects
At one such event called "Pervotsvit" Yuri first saw Karolina Kuek. The girl was only 13, but even then her talent was fully manifested. When Falesa approached Carolina and asked if she wanted to become a star, she answered without hesitation: "Yes, uncle." This is how the collaboration between the producer and the aspiring performer began. The ward grabbed everything on the fly and turned out to be very hardworking. In order to have more opportunities for recording songs and organizing concerts, I had to move to Kiev. When Karolina, together with her mentor, went to Moscow for the Morning Star competition, it turned out that there was already a singer with the same name in Russia. After a night of thought, Yuri read the girl's name in reverse - Ani Lorak. Not only everyone liked the new name, but also became happy for the artist. It brought her many victories at home and abroad, soon the performer became the youngest Honored Artist of Ukraine. The creative union of Falesa and Lorak lasted 13 years, in addition, most of the time they were connected not only by working relations. But the six-month depression of the singer after the unsuccessful selection for Eurovision 2005 led the couple to part ways.
In 2002, Yuri met 16-year-old Oksana Gritsay. I watched the work of the aspiring performer Thales from the chair of a jury member. When the girl entered the circus school and moved from her native Burshtyn to the Ukrainian capital, the production center of Yuri Falyosa invited her to sign a contract. The singer came up with the sonorous pseudonym Mika Newton herself. They worked together a lot in London, most of the compositions were recorded there. Thales himself calls the crisis and the closure of Style Records the main reason for the collapse of this union. Financial problems began, but the girl demanded a salary increase - this led to a conflict.
The scandal with Mika Newton made the producer lose faith in the artists for a while. But soon new performers and projects appeared: "Bryats-Band", "A Pair of Normal", "Leader", Masha Sobko, Masha Goya.
Today the famous producer collaborates with the young vocalist Masha Kondratenko, who is known under the pseudonym Magic. For several years, Yuri watched the success of the young talent, gave advice, and then, when Maria became a student at the school, he offered her a contract. For Falyosa, the project is interesting for its youth orientation, it is a completely new step in his work.
Personal life
With his first wife Olga, Yuri has been married for 11 years. They met while still a student, in the dormitory of the institute. Soon the young man offered his hand and heart to his chosen one, and six months later the couple signed. From this marriage, Artyom and Ivanna were born to Falyosa. The son today runs a large company, the daughter teaches foreign languages, lives in Chernivtsi.
This was followed by a long-term civil relationship with Ani Lorak, which ended in parting. For several years, the producer met with the artist Olga Vishnevskaya, and then with Masha Goya. Once, Yuri shared that he fondly recalls past relationships and tries to maintain friendship in the “former”.
Now Yuri has a really happy family. He met a young, beautiful girl Catherine, who gave him a son, Alexander. The wife has nothing to do with show business and is studying to be a cook. Katya has no plans to build a vocal career and only sings in karaoke. She cooks deliciously and knows how to create home comfort, so right after work Yuri hurries home to his wife and son. If there is free time, the producer devotes it to reading books, and considers Egypt the best country to travel.
Yuri Falyosa does not tolerate greed, arrogance and lack of culture, and among the main human values he singles out talent and the desire to move forward.
