Konstantin Tszyu is a famous Russian boxer. Former world champion in several boxing federations at once. He is currently actively involved in coaching.
Biography
Konstantin was born in 1969 in the Sverdlovsk region. The mother of the future boxer worked in the field of medicine, while his father worked at a metallurgical plant. In 1979, dad brought Konstantin to the boxing section.
The surname Tszyu went to the athlete from his great-grandfather, a thoroughbred Korean, who came to the Russian Federation from China. Konstantin also has a sister.
Having successfully passed the exams, in 1986 he entered the SIPI (Sverdlovsk Engineering and Pedagogical Institute), but after a year he dropped out and became a private in the OVKUS support battalion (Oryol Higher Military Command School).
In 1989, Tszyu's first serious success in the main age group took place. He won the USSR Championship as well as the European Championship. In 1991, Konstantin put in his piggy bank gold medals of the world championship.
In 1992, Konstantin decides to move to live in Australia, where, in addition to Russian, he receives Australian citizenship. In Sydney, he moved to the rank of professional. After a while, his parents and wife move to live with the boxer.
Tszyu won fights against such famous athletes as Judah Zab, Ismael Chavez, Cesar Chavez, Juan Laporte and Jesse Leich. Bright victories brought Konstantin world recognition and great fame in the boxing world. He became a real star both in Australia and in Russia.

After completing his career in 2005, Konstantin started coaching. He developed a special training system for his wards. His wards are such famous boxers as Denis Lebedev, Khabib Allahverdiev, Alexander Povetkin.
In parallel with this, Konstantin was engaged in conducting various master classes for young athletes. Moreover, with his own money, he opened a number of sports schools in the Russian Federation. Such measures, he said, are aimed at popularizing sports in Russia. The first boxing school opened in Moscow in 2009.
In 2010, he headed the editorial staff of the combat martial arts magazine "Fight Magazine". Also, the eminent boxer often began appearing on television as a media person. Personal life
In 1993 he married Natalia Leonidovna. Three children appeared in the marriage: Timofey, Nikita and Anastasia. Children also linked their lives with sports (boxing, football and gymnastics). In 2013, Konstantin divorced his wife and moved to live in Russia.
In 2014, the boxer signed with Tatyana Averina. In 2015, the couple had a son, Alexander, and in 2016, a daughter, Victoria.
