Recently, the society in which we live has increasingly begun to think about the revival of long-forgotten or lost spiritual values. Now a fairly large number of people have begun to believe in God. In the most difficult moments of our lives, many of us, despite various circumstances, find the strength and opportunity to come to the temple and ask the Lord for help. We all pray to God, to all the saints and ask for health, happiness and love for our loved ones. Naturally, we want to come to church and light a candle by the icon, but it so happens that there is nowhere to come, so there is a desire to build a temple in our city or village. This, of course, is a difficult task, but doable.
Instructions
Step 1
Hold a meeting of parishioners and volunteers to help build the temple. On it, it is imperative to choose a head who will be responsible for conducting all general work on the construction of the temple.
Step 2
Receive a blessing from the ruling bishop. To do this, you need to have a project of the future temple, which is approved by the architectural department of the city hall, information about those responsible for the construction, about the funds for the construction of the church or a list of investors who are ready to invest in the construction.
Step 3
Write an appeal to the mayor of the city about your desire to build a temple (attach the received blessing of the ruling bishop and a working draft). After that, decide on a place for construction and get a bypass sheet in the land use department. Then a special commission is assembled, which determines the place and territory of the future temple. All this is coordinated and the "Worship Cross" is installed on the site of the future church (a prayer service is held).
Step 4
Install a fence on the territory of the future temple. Excavate and lay the foundation.
Step 5
Erect the walls of the future temple and treat them with a special compound.
Step 6
Erect the domes of the church, such works are performed only by skilled craftsmen. Although a small church can be built with a regular roof.
Step 7
Complete the final work on the interior and exterior of the temple. Make and install the iconostasis.
Step 8
Send a temple progress alert to your diocese. Do not forget that during construction, prayers are constantly held and donations are collected for the temple. After the completion of all the work, the consecration of the new church is obligatory.
