Milov and the team of effective managers had to puzzle over complex problems and contribute to the stabilization of the situation.
Despite the titanic efforts of the team carrying out economic reforms, serious mistakes could not be avoided. Since 2001, Vladimir Milov has been working in a "fire" mode. The Ministry of Economic Development urgently needed to conduct an examination and evaluate the energy assets that are planned to be put up for privatization. This task was completed on time. Then Milov was appointed advisor to the Minister of Energy. Almost six months pass and his status rises - Vladimir Stanislavovich holds the post of Deputy Minister for Strategic Development.

In the fall of 2002, Milov decides to leave his post in the government. In his opinion, officials make many important decisions based on inaccurate data. In the fall of 2008 Milov joined the famous democratic movement Solidarity. At the first congress of the movement, he is elected to the governing bodies. An experienced speaker and knowledgeable expert is respected by members of the political council. However, soon disagreements begin in the ranks of the movement, growing into strife. Milov also does not stand aside from the heated debate. As a result, he had to leave the ranks of this organization and start building a more effective structure. A new party called "Democratic Choice" was created with the expectation of wide involvement of people dissatisfied with the current situation in the country.
At first, this is what happened. For five years, the party has declared itself with crowded processions and rallies. The number of active members grew. However, over time, a decrease in activity became noticeable. In particular, this was facilitated by the poor organization of the process for holding the election campaign in 2014. Then the party did not even manage to nominate its candidates for the Moscow City Duma. This "puncture" was credited to the account of Vladimir Milov. Disagreements among opposition movements are not new to Russian citizens. And this time, the next stage of consolidation ended in serious disarray.

The citizens of Russia have the opportunity to closely observe the events in the political field. Currently, the opposition has failed to declare itself as a creative force. Street processions and scandals on the Internet do not add credibility to the participants. Vladimir Milov has recently allowed himself rude and even uncensored expressions. His associates insult Anastasia Udaltsova, whose husband, a representative of the left movement, received a real prison term.
Outside observers and astute experts agree that Milov is a competent administrator and competent specialist. However, he lacks leadership qualities to lead a social movement. For the past two years, he has regularly hosted a thematic program on the YouTube channel on the Internet. The videos are informative and topical. Cooperation with Alexei Navalny is still developing effectively.
