The Ukrainian public figure was born in the east of Ukraine in the famous city of Donetsk. Date of birth of Vladimir Rybak - October 3, 1946.
Vladimir Vasilievich Rybak graduated from secondary school in 1961. The next place where the young man continued his education was a technical school, which trained professional construction specialists. It was an educational institution in the city of Yasinovataya. Rybak successfully completes his studies in 1963. Two years after graduating from college, the young specialist was drafted into the army. He had to serve as a soldier in the Moscow district. Years of service in the army left the best memories, Vladimir made reliable friends and colleagues. Vladimir Rybak finished his military service in 1968. After demobilization, he returns to his native Donetsk and becomes a student at the Faculty of Economics at Donetsk University.
After five years of study at the university, he begins his professional career. Rybak's place of work was the 565th construction department. The career of an energetic engineer went uphill. In 1976, Vladimir Vasilievich Rybak holds the position of deputy head of one of the subdivisions of the Donetsk Oblmezhkolkhozstroy. During these years Rybak joined the Communist Party and was engaged in party work. Growth in the career ladder was marked by studies at the Higher Party School.
Having worked as an instructor of the regional committee, Rybak showed excellent organizational qualities and a year later he holds the honorary position of secretary of the party organization. Vladimir Vasilievich enjoyed great respect and was in demand for his position. In 1988, the secretary of the regional committee became the head of the Kiev regional council. Although Volodymyr Rybak was a Ukrainian by his father, he did not know his native language very well, and already at a mature age began to study the Ukrainian language from scratch. The study was very difficult, but it was necessary for a person who began to work in leadership positions.
Political contributions
For special work qualities and energetic and accurate solutions to pressing problems, Rybak Vladimir Vasilyevich in 1993 became the mayor of his native Donetsk and performed his duties as the head of the city until 2002.
During the reign of Viktor Yanukovych, Rybak served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Ukrainian government. However, after the disgraced leader of the country was removed from power, Rybak also resigned.
