Family, early years
Mikhail Anatolyevich was born on April 2, 1947. His hometown is Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Mikhail's father is a journalist, his mother is a musician. When the boy was 7 years old, his father was invited to work in Leningrad, and the family moved. My father was promoted to deputy director of the House of Journalists, my mother got a job at the Philharmonic.
After graduating from school, Mikhail studied at the Electrotechnical Institute, studying electrical equipment of ships. After receiving his diploma, he worked as an engineer at the Central Research Institute of Ship Electrical Engineering.
Creative biography
In his student years, Mishin began to write humorous stories, which were sometimes printed in newspapers. Once he showed his works to his father. He gave them to Druyan Boris, the editor, to read, but did not say who the author was. Mikhail Druyan liked his work. Mishin decided to publish a book, it came out in 1976 and was called "A trolleybus walked along the street."
In the mid-70s, Mishin resigned from the Central Research Institute, despite the offer to enter the targeted graduate school. He took up literary work. At that time, Mikhail worked part-time at Lenconcert, becoming an artist of the spoken genre.
In 1977 Mishin became a member of the Writers' Union. He met with the famous Arkady Raikin, thanks to his friends, who arranged this meeting. Mishin showed Raikin his compositions, and Arkady Isaakovich invited the satirist to stage a play. The collaboration lasted for several years, during that period the production of "His Majesty the Theater" appeared.
Since 1986, Mishin began to live in Moscow. In the 80s, he created the script for the films Free Wind, Silva, and also became known as a pop artist. He performed in the program "Around Laughter", wrote many works performed from the stage.
Mikhail Anatolyevich also starred in the films "Moscow Holidays", "Children of Monday", "Genius" and others. In the 90s, many of the writer's books were published: "The Former Future", "Mixed Feelings", "Approved", etc. The writer became author of over 19 books. Mikhail Anatolyevich was twice awarded the Golden Calf Prize, and he also received the Golden Ostap Prize.
As a hobby, Mishin was engaged in translating English-language plays. However, later, plays were staged based on his translations. Famous are "Number 13", "Too Married Taxi Driver" (by Ray Cooney), which appeared in theaters thanks to Mishin.
Personal life
The first wife of Mikhail Anatolyevich is Kardashinskaya-Braude Irina, a philologist. The marriage lasted 15 years. In 1972, the boy Alexander was born. He lives in the United States.
In 1986, Tatyana Dogileva, a famous actress, became Mishin's wife. They met on the set of the movie "Free Wind". They lived in marriage for 20 years, and divorced in 2008. Daughter Catherine was born in 1994. She studied at an art school, later left for America, where she became an actress.
With his ex-wives, Mikhail Anatolyevich has maintained friendly relations, often communicates with children.
