Biography
Elena Denisova (Ukrainian) was born on April 14, 1960 in the city of Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg). Father is a civil engineer from Belarus, mother is from the city of Konotop (Ukraine). Due to her father's work, Elena's family constantly changed their place of residence. Elena spent most of her childhood in the city of Alma-Ata. When the girl was in fifth grade, the family moved to Moscow.
Lena studied well at school. She received high marks in almost all subjects. But subjects such as chemistry and biology were of the greatest interest to her. In this regard, the girl's parents were convinced that their daughter would become a student of the biology department of Moscow State University. But the future actress, without the knowledge of her relatives, entered the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS), on the course of Andrei Goncharov.
In 1981, Elena Denisova graduated from GITIS.
Career
During her studies and after graduation, the actress worked in the Moscow drama theaters - named after Vl. Mayakovsky, named after A. S. Pushkin, named after K. S. Stanislavsky.
The first film debut took place in 1979. Elena starred in the first episode of Stanislav Govorukhin's film "The meeting place cannot be changed" in a small role. She played a girl on a bench who leaves with her boyfriend when Vasya Vekshin appears.
Elena Denisova became widely known at the age of 23 after Alla Surikova's film "Look for a Woman", where the actress played the role of the typist Maitre Rocher Virginia Renoir.

In the 2000s, the former actress began to take part in the Christian program "12 Steps". She holds meetings with groups of alcoholics anonymous in the Church of Cosmas and Damian in Stoleshnikov Lane in Moscow, visits prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, and organizes charity dinners for the poor.
Elena Denisova also composes poems on biblical themes, which she then recites on the radio.
In 2016, the former actress published the book "We are all made of the same clay" (publishing house "AST"), where she describes her experience of working with people with autism.

Elena Timofeevna was married twice.
The first husband was Igor Denisov. They studied together on the same course at GITIS. In 1983, Elena and Igor had a son, Timofey, but soon after that the couple decided that they had rushed to the marriage and parted by mutual agreement.
In her second marriage, Elena Denisova became the wife of playwright and prose writer Edward Radzinsky, being 24 years younger than him.
Edward Radzinsky approves of his wife's activities and, as far as possible, sponsors her charitable projects.
