"White Sun of the Desert" is not the first film of the actor. Indeed, at the time of participation in it, he was already 39 years old. Before her, Anatoly Kuznetsov starred in 24 films, among which, perhaps, the most striking were comedies:

Biography
"Comrade Sukhov" was born in 1930 in the family of the opera singer Boris Kuznetsov. His father had an excellent bass and was in the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater. The singing talent was passed on to his son - Anatoly Kuznetsov had a beautiful baritone and at first wanted to develop in this direction. The first educational institution in which he studied was not a theater university, but a music school. They noticed his acting skills and recommended him to become an actor. As a result, the future famous film actor entered and successfully graduated from the School-Studio. VI Nemirovich-Danchenko at the Moscow Art Theater.
The first film role was played by him already in the 3rd year. And in the future, Anatoly Kuznetsov had virtually no downtime. He very carefully selected scripts, and refused if something did not suit him. For example, I did not start acting in the sensational film "Garage" by Eldar Ryazanov.
Despite the fact that the actor had good singing skills, the directors did not use it in their works. Only in one of his films - the 1957 film "Accident at Mine Eight" - you can hear the song performed by him. And only in the last years of his life he began to record discs and performed on stage in collective acting concerts as a singer.
In 2014, the actor passed away. Relatives do not hide the fact that he deliberately passed away, having taken a lethal dose of medicine, when he realized that doctors were not able to help with his illness.
Anatoly Kuznetsov has the title of Honored and People's Actor of the RSFSR. Awarded a number of State awards: the Order of Friendship, the Order of Honor and others.

Anatoly Kuznetsov's wife was engaged in documentary films, now she is retired. In 1974, the couple had a daughter, Irina, who became an art critic. She has a son, who was named Fyodor in honor of the Red Army soldier Sukhov, who made his grandfather famous.
