Brazilian actress Elena Ranaldi has been accustomed to physical labor since childhood. Looking at this spectacular diva, it is difficult to imagine that she earned her living as a schoolgirl. Elena Ranaldi was born in 1966 in Sao Paulo. The family had four children and the atmosphere was very cheerful. Children frolicked and played, often acting. Since then, Elena began to dream about the stage.
By adolescence, the future star realized that she was very attractive and could become a model or actress. However, she did not have the courage to enter drama school, and she entered the physical education faculty.
Soon, Elena realized that she had chosen the wrong profession. Already in the first year, she worked as a model, dreaming that one day she would appear on the real stage. But this required education, and Ranaldi entered acting courses.
Career as an actress
She played her first roles at the local theater in São Paulo - small roles, but it was a wonderful experience. Also, this work helped Elena to understand that she wanted something more. Therefore, she tirelessly went through auditions on television.
And once she succeeded - she got a role in the telenovela "The Story of Ana Rayo and Ze Trovau". It was a project on a not very well-known channel, and yet the producers considered Elena and began to invite her to more significant roles.
In 1993, Elena was lucky to play in the TV series "Eye to Eye" directed by Ricardo Waddington, with whom the actress formed a romantic relationship. However, the main role came to her a little later - in 1996, when she was invited to the TV series "My Angel".
Four years later, she got the role of her dreams - in the TV series "Family Ties" she played the role of a woman who is loved by several men. She had to be different with each of the partners, she had to establish contact with each of them professionally, and it was very interesting.
The first decade of the new century for Elena was very rich in terms of roles - she had to play a variety of heroines in the series "Anita's Presence" (2001), "Heart of a Student" (2002), "Women in Love" (2003), "Mistress of Destiny" (2005) and others.
Elena tried herself in a different role - for some time she worked as a TV journalist. However, for fear that journalism could interfere with filming, she did not agree to work on television permanently and returned to acting.
Personal life
Elena was married twice. The meeting with her first husband, director Ricardo Waddington, took place on the set. The young actress had to turn on all her charm to attract the attention of a celebrity. She succeeded, and in 1995 they got married, and in 1996 their son Pedro was born in their family.
Life in a creative family proceeded violently: scandals due to her husband's betrayal were replaced by reconciliation, but he again took up his own. Elena did not tolerate such a situation and filed for divorce, which happened in 2004.
Soon, Elena became the wife of Max Sett, but two years later this marriage broke up.
Now Elena Ranaldi, despite the fact that she recently celebrated her half-century anniversary, looks great and remains a very popular actress.
