Ultimately, Nevedomsky ended up in Leningrad, and decided to get a specialized education at the acting department of the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. In 1967, the graduated actor joined the troupe of the Bolshoi Drama Theater (BDT).
On the stage of the BDT Nevedomsky appeared for more than fifty years. The actor took part in almost all repertoire performances.
