Thorny path of knowledge
The main work of Danil Koretsky has little to do with literary creativity. To begin with, he learned the protocols of the arrest and examination of the crime scene. Parents are hereditary doctors. Father is a dentist, mother is a cardiologist. Everyday logic ordered the child to pursue a career in medicine. However, fate decreed otherwise. I dreamed of dreaming, but I entered the radio technical school of my hometown of Rostov-on-Don. The time spent studying amplifiers and local oscillators made it possible to format the aspirations and needs of the young man. Having received a diploma in radio engineering, Danil purposefully entered the law faculty of a local university. And from that moment the adult life of the future famous writer began. The starting position for the young specialist is an investigator of the district prosecutor's office.
Work in the prosecutor's office allowed investigator Koretsky to see with his own eyes how the city lives, what cataclysms are taking place here. In the 70s, the level of criminalization of society has significantly decreased in comparison with the post-war period. However, the indicators of street crime and petty hooliganism periodically simply "went off scale". Danil Arkadievich did not receive his education in radio engineering for nothing. When analyzing each offense or crime, he acted according to a previously developed scheme. And at the final stage, he summarized the accumulated information.
"Criminal" talent
The observations and generalizations of the investigator Koretsky were systematically used to develop legal documents and instructions. Eight years later, he goes to work at the Rostov Law Institute and heads the department of criminology. The huge baggage of knowledge and impressions does not fit into the framework of official documents and teaching materials. Danil Koretsky, in his spare time, writes novels, the plots for which he takes from real life. It is important to note that his books immediately became in demand.
