The successful athlete was born in the early 80s of the last century. The birthplace of Viktor was a city in Belarus - Vitebsk. From childhood, the boy was interested in various sports, but the choice of his parents fell on boxing. The growing athlete began to train hard from the very beginning.
As a teenager, Zuev attended his first amateur competitions in his favorite sport. To everyone's surprise, he did a great job, at such a young age he practically did not lose. The first world fame came to Victor at the age of 19, then he became the bronze medalist at the European tournament. This event served as the impetus for further achievements: a year later, Zuev again becomes the third at the world championship in Thailand.
The established duet of Anatoly Kolchin and Viktor Zuev was able to win a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Greece. Then the fame of the talented athlete practically reached its peak, he was recognized on the streets, asked for autographs.
