Dmitry Sychev is a famous football player who previously played for the Russian national team, whose biography includes participation in several major international tournaments. The athlete continues his football career, and it's no surprise that fans are keeping a close eye on his personal life.
Biography
Dmitry Sychev was born in 1983 in Omsk and was brought up in a sports family. His father was fond of football in his youth, and his mother was fond of athletics. It was dad who taught his son everything he knew, and then got him into a specialized sports school. After graduating from it, the young man, without hesitation, entered the Tambov Institute of Physical Culture, and subsequently continued to receive higher education at the State University of Physical Culture and Sports in Moscow.
From the age of 10 until he received a diploma of higher education, Dmitry Sychev always showed exemplary football, training in children's and youth teams. He even became the captain of the Omsk youth Dynamo and won the Urals Cup with him. Even then, Sychev became famous as an incredibly talented striker who constantly set goalscoring records. It was then that they began to call him into the Russian national football team born in 1983.
Dmitry Sychev began his professional career playing for the Tambov club "Spartak". Many clubs drew attention to the active and promising player, but the athlete preferred Moscow Spartak to everyone. By this time, he became the youngest footballer in the history of the country, who was declared for the world championship. But relations with the management of "Spartak" have developed not in the best way. Dmitry played for some time at Olympique Marseille, and then moved to the capital's Lokomotiv. For more than 10 years, the footballer has remained loyal to the club and has repeatedly helped bring it to the top of the national rating.
In 2000, Sychev took part in the European Football Championship as part of the Russian national team, but was unable to fully reveal himself in the game. He performed much better at the 2002 World Cup, with several successful assists and dangerous shots on goal, and also scored his first goal in the world championship, becoming one of the youngest successful strikers in the history of football.
After personal success in the tournament, Sychev did not please the fans with significant goals for a long time. Only at the 2006 World Cup did he manage to score several goals at once in various matches, returning the status of one of the best Russian playmakers. After a series of unsuccessful matches for the further history of the national team, Sychev left it, as well as from Lokomotiv, becoming a player of the Minsk Dynamo. In 2017, he moved to the Moscow club Kazanka, where he continues to play, despite his already quite solid age for football (34 years).
Personal life
Dmitry Sychev has never been married, although the football player's personal life has always been quite bright. He is credited with having affairs with singer Anna Dubovitskaya, TV presenter Ksenia Borodina, actress Svetlana Svetikova, TV presenter of the reality show Dom-2, model Anna Gorshkova and many other prominent women. The athlete did not miss the moment to appear at the next social event with one of his passions, but his hobbies did not end in anything serious.
Currently, Sychev is a frequent guest on Russian television. He appears as an expert on sports shows, commenting on football matches and various events. One of the recent achievements was the shooting in the film "Trainer" directed by Danila Kozlovsky. Dmitry played the role of a football player in the team trained by the main character of the film.
