Louis Mandylore was born in 1966 in the multimillion-dollar city of Melbourne. His parents are Greek immigrants (their real name is Theodosopoulos) who moved to Australia in search of a better life. They were not associated with the world of cinema, and their two sons became actors: in addition to Luis, his older brother Kostas chose the profession of an artist. Viewers saw him in the horror series Saw, where he portrayed detective Mark Hoffman.
In childhood and school years, Louis was an active child, he was involved in a lot of different sports. Dramatic art was not included in the circle of his interests at that time. He loved Muay Thai and later became a footballer and even was part of the Australian youth team.
When he and Kostas became actors, they took their mother's surname, shortening it slightly, because the real surname is very long.
