Svetlana Svetlichnaya was born in 1940 in the Armenian city of Leninakan (now Gyumri). At that time, the family was far from the Russian capital due to the fact that the father of the future actress was a military man. After a while, the Svetlichny ones moved to the Sumy region, where Svetlana attended school, and also studied with enthusiasm in the drama club. By the end of her studies, everyone was talking about the girl's great talent, and her parents insisted that she try to enter VGIK. Svetlichnaya successfully passed the test and began to study under the guidance of Mikhail Romm.
As a student, Svetlana Svetlichnaya began to actively act in films. The first success came with the film “I’m twenty years old”, and then the film “Heaven Submits to Him”, which came out in the early 1960s, was consolidated. It was this decade that became truly stellar for the young actress. She appeared in the films "Cook", "Clean Ponds" and "Not the best day", but the main one was the comedy "The Diamond Arm" by Leonid Gaidai, which was released in 1968.
In the popular film about an unlucky family man who accidentally became a smuggler, Svetlana Svetlichnaya played the girl Anna, who, according to the plot, was supposed to become the fake mistress of the main hero. The actress did the literally unthinkable at that time, dancing a light, frank dance. This made her a real sex symbol of Soviet cinema, and the role of the insidious seducer could not be overshadowed even by the serial films "Seventeen Moments of Spring" and "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed".
The 1990s and early 2000s turned out to be rather stingy for successful roles for a talented actress. She only played in the film "Goddess. How I Loved”, the series“Garages”and several little-known projects. The last released film with Svetlana Svetlichnaya was "The Girl and Death" of 2012.
Personal life
Svetlana Svetlichnaya met her future husband Vladimir Ivashov as a student. They took different courses. After a while, Vladimir showed himself as a talented actor, having played in the film "The Ballad of a Soldier". Svetlichnaya realized that she had fallen in love, and began to show the young man signs of attention. So they started dating and soon got married.
In marriage, a beautiful couple had a son, Alexei. Unfortunately, the relationship between the spouses gradually began to deteriorate. They started romances in secret from each other, but they tried their best to keep the family together, even having given birth to another child - the son of Oleg. Gradually, peace reigned in the family, but Vladimir Ivashov's health began to deteriorate, and he died at the age of 55. Subsequently, the actress tried to start a relationship with musician Sergei Sokolovsky, but they quickly fell apart.
