Biography
Natalia Egorova was born in 1950 in Stavropol. The family often moved from one city to another, but the future actress was never discouraged, was very active and often participated in theatrical performances. In 1969, she decided to enter the Irkutsk Theater School, where she was gladly accepted. A year later, Natalia's ambitions grew, and she went to Moscow, but failed to get into the coveted GITIS. And yet luck smiled at her: the girl was noticed by a nearby film crew, inviting her to star in the movie "The City of First Love".
The aspiring actress remained in Moscow, and during the filming, her professional skills increased significantly. A year later, she became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School without any problems, and later began working at the New Drama Theater. Natalia also starred in the films "Oh, this Nastya!" and "Elder Son", which made her famous in the USSR. In 1989, Egorova moved to the Theater. Chekhov, continuing to delight the audience with his talented game. She has the warmest memories of this institution, and she continued to perform on stage, even having already become a famous film actress.
In the early 2000s, actress Natalya Yegorova took part in the filming of the serial film "Secrets of Palace Revolutions" as Catherine I. This image was highly appreciated by critics, and the actress received several prestigious awards. Personal life
Natalia Egorova was married only once. In her student years, she met and fell in love with fellow student Nikolai Popkov. In 1977, a son, Alexander, was born in marriage, who more than once participated in joint filming with his famous mother. They lived together for more than sixteen years, but in the end their feelings for each other grew very cold, and the couple broke up, focusing on their careers: the ex-husband took the name of his new wife - Glinsky and took up directing.
In 2011, Natalia Egorova faced a great tragedy: her son Alexander died suddenly in India. The exact cause of death is still unknown. It is believed that it was alcohol poisoning, but Natalya herself believes that her son was the victim of a murder. This grief had a strong impact on the life of the actress, who began to move more and more away from the usual work in the cinema. In 2017, she starred in the TV series Walking Through the Torment. She has also been teaching at the theater workshop of N. L. Skorik for several years now.
