Step 1
Find out if you are eligible for the related award. To do this, you must have seven or more children, both relatives and adopted. At the same time, the family should be characterized positively from the point of view of the guardianship and guardianship authorities. Not only the mother, as it was in the Soviet Union, is entitled to the order, but also the father of a large family, if he is officially married to the mother of children or performs the functions of a single parent. The age of children when receiving the award is not limited, but foster parents can be awarded the order only after five years of successful parenting.
Step 2
Nominate your candidacy for the award. If you are part of a parenting organization with many children, she can do it for you. Documents for submission of candidacy can be obtained from the district administration. You or the organization that nominated you will need to fill out a questionnaire, as well as, if necessary, submit documents from the place of study of the children for a positive description of the family. Also, you can be nominated for an award by the administration itself.
Step 3
Wait for a response to your request. If the answer is negative, you can apply at a later date. If your candidacy is approved, you will be informed about it and you will be invited to the presentation of awards in Moscow. According to the rules of the event, you can take along children of a fairly adult age.
Step 4
At the ceremony itself, receive the award from the hands of the president or his substitute. You will be given the medal itself, a ribbon to wear on the bar, and a medal badge for a less ceremonial setting. The state award is accompanied by a bonus of fifty thousand rubles, which will be paid to you later.
Step 5
After receiving your award, find out if you are entitled to any additional benefits due to this. This information can be given to you in the district administration.
