Step 1
Reading an audiobook implies playing it. The text of the work is read out verbatim by the speaker; an additional accompaniment is a neutral musical background, which can change depending on the logical intensity of the episode. Variations in the “audio performance” format are also possible (especially often for plays), when each character is voiced by a separate actor. You can listen to the book in any setting, if it will not distract you too much: before going to bed, lying in bed; in the car; in public transport or during work - the only question is technical means.
Step 2
If you purchased the product on CD, you will need a regular playback device for playback, be it a PC, disc player or car radio. The book is recorded in the form of several separate audio tracks arranged in chronological order (one track is actually equal to one chapter), and switching between them is similar to changing a song in the player.
Step 3
To copy a book from a disk to a PC, you should use special software. If you try to copy through the "Explorer", then you will only create track shortcuts without moving the audio itself. The simplest option is to use the built-in Windows player: by default the function “Copy from CD” is available in it (in different versions the link to it changes its location), which will help you to carry out the correct transfer to the hard disk.
Step 4
The downloaded files can be treated like regular.mp3 songs. This means that they can be placed on a flash drive and played from it (if the player supports this function) or transferred to an mp-3 player and listened there. The same is true for audiobooks downloaded from the Internet: they are usually immediately saved in a convenient format.
