Childhood impressions
Valentin Pavlovich was born in November 1948 in the Leningrad Region. He was born in the picturesque village of Sosnovaya Polyana. His parents were from a peasant family. For the rest of his life, Valentin Pavlovich remembered his bright childhood, because it contained amazingly beautiful maternal songs, her kind fairy tales.
Golubev still remembers bright rural holidays. Indeed, church dates were celebrated unforgettably. In the fresh air, not only fervent and lyrical songs sounded, but there were also funny games, loud round dances. Valentin Pavlovich also recalls what a healthy way of life was then in the village. People worked, ate wholesome food, knew how to have fun and relax without alcohol.

Poet career
The boy began to write poetry as a child. They were appreciated and published in Leninskie Iskra in 1964. After graduating from school, the young man went to a technical school, and when he received a secondary specialized education here, he went to Leningrad University.
A significant event in the life of a novice publicist was a meeting with Igor Grigoriev, a Russian poet. He was familiar with outstanding creative people and introduced Golubev into this circle.
Then Valentin Pavlovich was admitted to the literary workshop of the Writers' Union, which was organized under the Aurora magazine. Soon V. P. Golubev began to publish in many publications in Leningrad and Moscow.
But the famous writer managed not only to write poetry, along the way he worked as a locksmith, he was even able to build a career, rising to the rank of shop manager.
Creation
In 1976, Valentin Pavlovich published his first treatise - a collection of poems called "Holiday". In these small poetic works there is a philosophical understanding of the poet's reality. In Golubev's poems there are echoes of old fairy tales, Russian epics, national songs.
In 1985, V. P. Golubev publishes the next collection, which is called "From Spring to Spring". Five years later, another book called "Black Day" is published.
In these collections, creations are selected that, in poetic form, tell about how rich the human soul is, how people strive for happiness. It also reflects the beauty of the world, tells about the traditions of Russian life.
At the end of the last century, another book of Golubev's poems was published under the title "Russian Roulette". In 2002, another creation of the writer was published under the title "Life is short". In 2008, selected poems by V. P. Golubev were published.
In his interviews, the poet tells how he loves to read poetry in front of an audience, how people are inspired by these lines, they begin to smile, they forget about fatigue and adversity.
