Biography
The future writer was born in a small village in the Bryansk region in 1920 in the family of a collective farmer and a teacher. In the regional center, he graduated from high school. In the same 1939 he entered the Pedagogical Institute of the city of Smolensk at the Faculty of Philology.
In 1941, the young man was drafted to the front, so he ended up in the tank troops. Alexander Terentyevich was repeatedly wounded. But, despite all the horrors of the war, he managed to keep a pure soul. This can be seen in his literary works.
Creation
No wonder Alexander Protasov went to study to be a philologist. After all, he wrote poetry from school. But over time, his works became more and more mature. The poet's poems began to be printed in 1945 in a front-line newspaper. When the war ended, the writer's works could be found in the magazine "Soviet Warrior", in the newspaper "Krasnaya Zvezda", in the almanac "Podvig".
When A. T. Protasov moved to the city of Chisinau, his creations began to be printed in almost all magazines and newspapers in Moldova.
Then he published 4 books, which included his poems. In these works, with the help of rhymed lines, the author talks with readers, talks about his generation, which had to endure the Great Patriotic War, about nationalism, about corruption and crime, about the Man who was able to keep his soul pure.
The poet's poems are devoted not only to military themes and heroic lyrics. In his works, he confessed his love for Russia, wrote about his native Bryansk region, about his feelings for a woman.
