Dmitry Rogozin is a politician, Doctor of Philosophy, better known for his diplomatic activities and work in the Russian government. Since December last year, he has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister. Rogozin has his own page in the microblog Twitter, one of the messages in which received a wide response in the press. It concerned the popular singer Madonna.
Rogozin's record, widely discussed in Russia and abroad, on his microblog does not contain any names, but almost no one doubts that it refers to the action of the American pop diva at one of the Moscow concerts. 53-year-old Madonna is touring three continents, and in Moscow her performance took place on August 7 at the Olympic sports complex. During each of her shows, the singer gives a short speech on tolerance, telling that there are people of different nationalities, religions and sexual orientations in her troupe. This time, Madonna added to her speech three proposals in support of members of the Russian women's punk group Pussy Riot, arrested for hooliganism in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. She said that she was not going to express her disrespect for the church or the government, but would pray for the freedom of courageous girls who already paid for their deed in full. Then the singer performed a striptease, traditional for Madonna's concerts, revealing the Pussy Riot inscription on the back, put on a hat with slots ("balaclava") - a constant attribute of all the actions of this female punk group - and sang the next song of the concert.
Dmitry Rogozin in his twitter has previously left notes about the lawsuit over Pussy Riot, which received a lot of attention in the country and abroad. He also paid attention to this event, using unprintable epithets, however, hidden by self-censorship - a direct link to the message in the microblog is given below. Public figures quite often reward Madonna with similar epithets for traditional outrageous antics - the latter was done by Elton John on the air of Australian television. However, the words of the current Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, albeit expressed in private, received a fairly wide response.
