Nikolai Dmitrievich Chindyaykin is a famous Russian theater and film actor. People's Artist of the Russian Federation and Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He starred in a huge number of films and television series, but the greatest popularity was brought to him by his role in the TV series "Hour of Volkov".
Biography and career
The parents of the future actor met during the Great Patriotic War. Father Dmitry was captured by the Nazis in Belarus, and when he and other prisoners were regularly expelled to work, he met a local resident Stephanida. When the war ended, they met again, Dmitry was exiled to the village of Chernoe in the Gorky region because of captivity, there was a settlement colony, and Stephanida, leaving everything behind, went there. In March 1947, on the eighth, they had a child, who was named Nikolai.
After the release of his father, the family moved to the Ukrainian city of Alchevsk, where the future artist began to take his first steps in acting. Since childhood, the boy loved to act out different scenes and just grimace in front of his peers, for which he received the nickname "artist". Nikolai was a very curious child and was fond of everything that came into his field of vision. At school, he played tennis, drew, played the button accordion and even learned German.
But most of all, Chindyaykin Jr. liked performing on stage, and after graduating from school, he left for Rostov, where he entered the local theater school. Studying was easy, and after graduating from college he got a job at the Rostov Youth Theater without any problems. After five years of work at the Rostov Theater, Nikolai moved to the Omsk Drama Theater.
Film work
For the first time, Nikolai Chindyaykin appeared on TV screens only at the beginning of the 90s. The beginning of his film career was the role in the feature film "Sea Wolf" based on the novel of the same name by the famous Jack London. The actor was then already 43 years old, but despite this, he began to appear regularly in films and TV shows of the 90s. The actor quickly gained recognition and love of the public. To date, he has more than a hundred works in films and television series behind him. The last work of Nikolai Chindyaykin was released in May 2018 - this is the drama series "My Life", in which he played the role of a coach.
Despite the solid baggage of roles in the cinema, Chindyaykin prefers the theater, since 2008 he has been playing on a regular basis at the Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow. The talented artist also tried his hand at being a writer - he published an autobiographical book, which was titled "I won't calm down, I won't go crazy, I won't go deaf."
Personal life
Nikolai Chindyaykin was married three times. The first wife of a famous artist's name is Natalya, they worked together in the Rostov Youth Theater and the daughter Anastasia was left from the marriage. The second wife, Natalya Ozhigova, died of cancer in 1989. Now Nikolai is married to an actress named Rasa Von Thornau.
