Efim Zalmanovich was born in the village. Neksikan (Magadan region) March 25, 1956 His father was sent to a colony-settlement, charged with espionage. In the 80s, Efim Zalmanovich became a laureate of several competitions. He became popular in 1986 after performing in the humorous program "In Our House". Later he was invited to other programs.
