A temple is a sacred building that was built for worship and the implementation of religious rituals, for example, baptism, weddings. Some people do not understand: why are temples needed, because God is in their souls. Mikhail Zadornov also said that he did not need any intermediaries to communicate with the Almighty. But mankind needs temples. Why?

Yes, of course, every believer can turn to God at any moment without resorting to the help of the church and priests. Nevertheless, the temple is the place where the Sacraments are performed. For example, baptisms take place. If there was no temple, people would not be able to go through one of the seven Sacraments. Some people come to this sacred place to share their experiences, to receive advice. The person is cleansed, the soul becomes easy. What is the Sacrament? This is the hand that is extended to us with God's Gifts. By eating them, we give God the nature, which he purifies, brings Divinity there. At the psychological level, a person feels more comfortable, calm. A person is not obliged to visit the temple, he goes there when "the soul asks." This is a sacred place where people seek peace, forgiveness, understanding. Having arrived there, a person can be sure that they will listen to him, lend a helping hand and never be insulted. There you can hide from the cruel world - crime, violence, deception. Having come to the temple, a person can fulfill some of the commandments of the Almighty. For example, one of them implies the prohibition of atheism. A person should honor God, study faith and think about the miracles of creation. This is what the temple is for. That is, if this sacred place did not exist, people, perhaps, would not have been so religious, faith in God would have come to naught; a person would become an atheist, commit forbidden and sinful deeds. To understand what a temple is for, one can think of a means of transportation like an airplane. After all, it is not the meaning of a person's life, but it is able to deliver us to the goal in a fairly short time. So is the temple: it is not meaning, but it is with the help of it that we can cognize the commandments of the Creator. Yes, of course, its presence does not improve life in itself, but it enriches it spiritually.
