Unlike the first two wives of Chubais, who chose ordinary professions, Avdotya Smirnova is a fairly well-known person in our country. For a long time, Chubais's third wife worked in the cinema as a screenwriter. At the moment she is one of the most successful directors in Russia, specializing in the creation of mainly "literary films".

Biography

Dunya Smirnova was born in Moscow on June 29, 1969. Her mother, Natalya Rudnaya, was a popular actress who starred in such well-known films as Autumn, Iolanta and Mistress of the Orphanage.

The father of Chubais's third wife, Andrei Smirnov, devoted his life to directing, and also wrote scripts. For example, it was he who in the last century created one of the masterpieces of Soviet cinema - the film "Belorussky Station".

Dunya Smirnova, by her own admission, felt a craving for cinema and writing while still a teenager. After graduation, in order to combine these two hobbies, the girl decided to enter the screenwriting department at VGIK.

It is not known how Dunya's fate would have developed, had she then realized her desire. However, the girl's father, unfortunately, categorically forbade her to associate her life with television or cinema. At his insistence, Avdotya gave up her dream and became a student at Moscow State University, enrolling in the Faculty of Philology. However, later the girl nevertheless achieved her goal and confirmed her love for art by entering the theater department at GITIS.

Journalist and singer

As a student, Chubais's future wife became interested in journalism. Subsequently, the girl worked for some time as a book reviewer in such popular publications as Afisha and Stolitsa. Then she was invited to take the place of creative editor in his studio, Sergei Soloviev. Even later, Dunya Smirnova came to the decision to drastically change her life and became a soloist of the "Blunt" group.

Host and screenwriter

Avdotya Smirnova began her career in cinema with the light hand of Alexei Uchitel. Together with this famous director, she wrote her first script for the epic "The Last Hero", dedicated to the memory of Viktor Tsoi.

After a while, Dunya moved to St. Petersburg, where she continued her writing career, creating new scripts. With her participation, for example, such famous paintings as:

  • "Butterfly";
  • "8 and a half dollars";
  • "The Diary of His Wife."

Since 2002, Avdotya Smirnova began to appear on television. The girl received an invitation from the "School of Scandal" program and became a co-host of Tatiana Tolstoy.

First husband

Avdotya Smirnova met her first husband, Arkady Ippolitov, who was then an art critic, in the mid-80s. This happened, apparently, even before her arrival in St. Petersburg and work as a screenwriter. The young people got married in 1989. The marriage between Smirnova and Ippolitov lasted for 7 years. In 1996, the couple officially broke up.

Son

In a marriage with Arkady Ippolitov, Dunya Smirnova had a son, Danila. Like his parents, the boy turned out to be a comprehensively gifted person. After studying at the Zenit football school, Danila became the Russian beach soccer champion as part of the national team.

After the end of his sports career, the son of Avdotya Smirnova entered the State University of Film and Television. Subsequently, Danila Ippolitov worked, including in the same team with his famous mother. For example, he was the producer of the video "Funeral" of the musical group "Leningrad", the script for which was written by Avdotya Smirnova.

Directing activity

Smirnova's debut as a director took place in 2006. Her melodrama "Communication", which was then released on the screens, told the story of a man and a woman who completely destroyed their previous lives for the sake of violent passion. The critics liked the picture created by Smirnova very much and was awarded the Kinotavr Prize in the Best Debut category. Later Avdotya Smirnova directed such films as "2 Days" with Ksenia Rappoport and "Kokoko", which was also nominated for "Nika".

Marriage with Anatoly Chubais

For the second time, Avdotya Smirnova got married 6 years after the divorce with A. Ippolitov. Her wedding with Anatoly Chubais, who left his second wife Maria Vishnevskaya for her, took place in 2012 and caused a huge resonance in society. For some time this news did not leave the front pages of the most popular Russian print media and was discussed in every possible way on social networks.

For Avdotya Smirnova herself, as she later said, marriage with a famous politician was very difficult. Doubting the correctness of such a decision, she even refused Chubais a marriage proposal several times. However, in the end, the politician got his way, and the couple in love got married.

Recently, the media often enough began to flash information that Avdotya Smirnova and Anatoly Chubais divorced. However, the couple has not yet officially announced the dissolution of the marriage. Moreover, Chubais often appears in public accompanied by his wife. At the same time, the couple usually looks pretty happy.

In the past, both Chubais and Avdotya Smirnova very often told the press about their family. At the same time, both especially emphasized the fact that they are happy in marriage. So, it is quite possible that information about an imminent divorce is nothing more than a newspaper duck and the famous director and politician will live in the future as one family for many years to come.
