Honoring newlyweds in a poetic form has become a good tradition: such congratulations, verified and prepared, sound advantageous during the celebration, in contrast to inept toasts, when the congratulant painfully tries to impromptuly choose the words befitting the occasion.
Of course, you can find a poetic congratulation, already created by one of the many authors, on the Internet or in special collections, but it will not have the sincerity and targeting of wishes as in the one written personally. Content
The content of wedding greetings is usually traditional. In them you can:
- to note the solemnity and importance of such an event as a wedding;
- mention the merits of the bride and groom
- add wishes and parting words for a long and happy life together.

It is worth making sure that praise addressed to anyone does not look ambiguous, and wishes are too stereotyped and preachy. But a little good humor will undoubtedly make the congratulations more lively and memorable.

Of course, no one has the right to demand from such a work an impeccable literary form, but nevertheless, you should make sure that at least an approximate rhythm is observed in the congratulatory poem, and the lines are rhymed - so your masterpiece will be better perceived by ear.
And besides, you need to think about the design of your literary congratulatory address. Written on a beautiful postcard or designed independently on high-quality paper, perhaps using photographs, drawings, such a congratulation will take its rightful place in the wedding album of the newlyweds and will serve as an excellent reminder of a happy event in their life and of the author who dedicated such warm and kind words to their wedding …
