From childhood we were taught that swearing is indecent and illiterate. We were told that a cultured person will be able to express his dissatisfaction by other means, without resorting to obscene language. Who does not remember the threats of parents and educators to wash the offender's mouth with soap and water?
In fact, we have all noticed that both in our country and abroad, people use foul language regardless of social or cultural level. But if the plumber Vasya really suffers from a lack of vocabulary, then the writer Vitya, for example, deliberately uses forbidden words in his literary works.
The concept of "trash talk" (from the English trash talk - dirty talk) is widely known in the sports environment. This ability was fully possessed by the famous boxer Mohammed Ali, and modern wrestlers, basketball players, football players borrowed his style of whipping and threatening conversation, in which the opponent is threatened with the most cruel reprisals in the most accessible language.
Now thrash talk is not used everywhere only because of the existing censorship in the media, while bloggers and columnists of independent publications have long understood how useful and appropriate it is to screw a hot word in time.
We are surrounded by so much noise from news and entertainment channels, advertisements, special offers that most of us have become voluntary deaf, like one of those three Chinese monkeys. But as soon as we hear a familiar combination of sounds, we listen, not believing our ears. And then, in the place of the shameless, we no longer imagine a janitor, but an intelligent fighter for freedom of speech, including the unprintable one. As a result, we are imbued with trust and understanding.
Of course, not every idle foul language will deserve such honors. You need to be able to beautifully use such vocabulary, no matter how strange it may sound. But most importantly, you need to really want to tell the world something important, and not just chat.
